On Saturday night, the Grizzlies are playing the Cleveland Cavaliers (in Ohio).
Before the game, Morant made a heartfelt post to his Instagram story for his father.

Morant was the second pick in the 2019 NBA Draft out of Murray State.
He is in his seventh season (all with the Grizzlies).
In that span, Morant has led the franchise to the NBA playoffs four times.

The Grizzlies came into Sunday’s matchup as the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 4-9 record in their first 13 games.
They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak (and 1-4 in five games on the road).
Following the Cavs, the Grizzlies will play their next game on Tuesday night when they visit Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in Texas.
