With LeBron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers for the final chapter of his career, he is set to get the Michael Jordan treatment from ESPN.
According to reports, the broadcaster is closing in on an agreement with James to film a behind-the-scenes documentary series during his time with the 76ers.

The documentary went viral after its release in April 2020 and even won an Emmy award. It provided fans with remarkable insight into one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
Now, The Athletic is reporting that discussions are at an advanced stage between James and ESPN to produce a similar behind-the-scenes documentary series following his time with the 76ers.
The NBA world shared its excitement at the news while also expressing its sadness that this is the final chapter of James’ iconic career. Many were left emotional at the prospect of James hanging up his boots after more than two decades of dominance in the NBA.

James joined the 76ers on a two-year, $8 million contract, signaling his desire to keep competing beyond his 24th season in the NBA. He is coming off an eight-year spell with the Los Angeles Lakers, during which he won one title in 2020.
James also led the Lakers to the playoffs last season but was unable to prevent the franchise from being swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round.
The 41-year-old is set to team up with Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and V. J. Edgecombe in Philadelphia. The star-studded roster has quickly established itself as a favorite to win the NBA championship next season.
