The LeBron James trade saga continues to drag on. The forward is contracted to the Los Angeles Lakers for now, but speculation is swirling that James could be on the move. Adding fuel to the rumors was that the four-time champion was recently seen on a yacht with well-known Serbian sports agent Miško Ražnatović.
The James family is currently enjoying some downtime in Europe, and the NBA superstar was spotted taking in some sunshine off the French coast. Accompanying James on his vacation was Ražnatović, who also happens to be Denver Nuggets’ All-Star Nikola Jokić’s representative.
After the two were spotted spending some quality time together, social media erupted with many fans believing James could be in search of greener pastures.

James taking time to visit Ražnatović in France has the social media world talking. Ražnatović’s caption on his Instagram post did little to quell suggestions of a James-Jokić reunion.

Some fans seem to think that James could be heading to Colorado in the next few weeks.

While some fans argue that James to the Nuggets could be an ideal fit, others believe the Southern California superstar isn’t going anywhere, and it may be Jokić who is heading out West.

The fact remains that, for now, James remains a Laker. It has not even been a month since the he opted into his $52.6 million player option, and there have been no official reports that he plans to leave. However, there have been signals coming out of the James camp that he may be keeping an open mind.
James’ agent, Rich Paul, told ESPN that the Lakers star was still interested in winning a championship, a goal that may not be realistic with Los Angeles.
“LeBron wants to compete for a championship, said Paul. “We understand the difficulty in winning now while preparing for the future. We do want to evaluate what’s best for LeBron at this stage in his life and career. He wants to make every season he has left count, and the Lakers understand that, are supportive and want what’s best for him.”
The cryptic message from Ražnatović should ignite a new wave of James trade conversations. While there are rumors circulating that the veteran superstar could be eyeing Denver or Dallas, James is playing his cards close to the chest and not revealing anything just yet.
