LeBron James’ Daughter Zhuri Shines On Volleyball Court in Recent Footage

The ESPN W social media account posted extended highlights of James’ daughter Zhuri in action on the volleyball court. ESPN W said on X, “So cool seeing the development from Zhuri James on the volleyball court.” The 11-year-old James plays for the City Volleyball Club in California. James wears jersey number six to honor her father’s legendary basketball career.

Wherever James does finish his NBA career, the next generation will be prepared to take over and continue his legacy. James’s oldest child, Bronny, is his teammate on the Lakers. Bronny has yet to make his mark as an NBA player and has spent time in the G-League once again this season.

He’s averaging 2.3 points and 1.3 assists this season, while shooting 40.7% from the field and 42.3% from three. With several players sitting out, James took advantage of the extended playing time he received and scored a season-high 12 points and dished out six assists in the Lakers’ 136-108 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

James’ youngest son, Bryce, recently made headlines, as University of Arizona basketball coach Tommy Lloyd announced that he will redshirt his freshman year. The Wildcats are currently the number one-ranked team in college basketball, and while James hasn’t seen the floor this season, Lloyd believes that he will be a contributor next season. There’s always a chance James could transfer, but the opportunity to be a part of another national championship-contending team next year could convince him to stay.

As Zhuri James begins to forge her own path away from the basketball court, her highlight reel has many wondering whether she’ll end up the second-best athlete in the family, or perhaps even match her father’s accolades in another sport. While it’s too early to tell, she appears passionate about volleyball and is eager to keep improving. James wants all of his children to strive for greatness.
