LeBron James Celebrates Bronny James’s Big Night As South Bay Lakers Win Regular Season Finale

Bronny suited up for the South Bay Lakers and started the game, playing 37 minutes. He finished with 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in a 140-132 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Saturday night.

King James took to X during the game to showcase his excitement over Bronny’s elite production and posted, “Bronny going NUTS right now!!! WOW,” as the second-year guard put together arguably his best career outing.

Bronny was highly efficient, shooting 9-of-12 from the field and 6-of-8 from three-point range. His 6 made three-pointers set a new career high across both G League and NBA games. He hit several impressive shots that lit up the arena.

One key highlight moment came in the fourth quarter when Bronny intercepted a pass with great athleticism and finished with a clean layup while South Bay led 130-125. He also scored 11 of his 26 points in the final period, helping his team close out the game.

This performance came just one night after Bronny made history alongside his father, becoming part of the first father-son duo to combine for an assist when he knocked down a three-pointer in the second quarter against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.

Bronny is in his second season in the G League and has split time with the Los Angeles Lakers. In 14 G League games, he is averaging 15.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.3 steals.

Meanwhile, in the NBA this season, Bronny has seen limited minutes on the court. But he has still proved himself useful. Bronny has appeared in 34 games, averaging 2.1 points, 0.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 7.1 minutes per game.

His recent G League form could help him earn more minutes with the Lakers as the season moves forward.
