The streets of New York went wild after the Knicks’ Game 6 victory over the Celtics. However, some unruly Knicks fans bullied an Indiana Pacers fan donning the Tyrese Haliburton jersey.
The incident caught fire on social media, as multiple fans condemned the heckling by the unruly Knicks fans. Notably, Hans Perez, a firefighter in New York, was the target of a distasteful action in which the Knicks fans threw trash at the firefighter.
But, he received a wonderful surprise on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ when Haliburton showed up to give him a surprise ticket for Game 4.
Thus, the iconic Ben Stiller loved the heartwarming gesture and praised Haliburton on social media for his kind act.
Ben Stiller Gives His Flowers to Tyrese Haliburton for a Sweet Gesture
Haliburton appeared on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ to express his support for Perez and offer him a ticket to attend Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pacers guard would probably want the fan to see them close out the series in Game 4.
Supreme confidence, one must say.
Seeing this token of kindness, Stiller posted on X, “I appreciate this by Halliburton. No one should ever treat fans of any team like this. NY is better than this. And this man is a firefighter 🙌 #KNICKSIN6.”

At the end of the comment, he predicted the Knicks to win the Eastern Conference Finals in Game 6 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The stage’s been set. Whenever the Knicks meet the Pacers, it promises complete drama. Remember when Haliburton squared off against Jalen Brunson in the WWE? As many people have suggested, they set the script for this showdown.
Epic Moments From the Knicks-Pacers Showdown
Moreover, many moments showcased the rivalry between these two teams. Safe to say, they can’t stand each other.
The rivalry has been on edge since the first round of the 1993 postseason. Reggie Miller became the pantomime villain for the New York faithful, and his incident with John Starks raised a few eyebrows. Starks believed Miller got away with all the fouling and confronted the officials, who shut him up.
Later, Starks took the matter into his own hands by headbutting Miller and was ejected for his actions. This incident catalyzed many future episodes as Brunson and Haliburton kicked-started their rivalry in the current day and age.
Likewise, the Pacers fan, Perez, detailed how he loved to watch Miller play, and he was one of the coldest guards in the NBA. During Game 1 of the 1995 Eastern Conference semifinals, Miller scored 8 points in 9 seconds, knocking down two back-to-back three-pointers.
When the Pacers arrive to meet them in Game 1, it looks like a Rumble in the Bronx. This series has all the hallmarks of becoming a crowd puller, and the fans eagerly await Game 1.
