The sports world was ablaze with celebration for the Cleveland Browns’ defensive end Myles Garrett after he recorded an NFL single-season record 23rd sack against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Josh Hart of the New York Knicks was one of the athletes tuned into the action, but he noticed something funny that happened after the sack.

Josh Hart Finds Shelby Harris’s Celebration of Myles Garrett’s Record Funny
With just under five minutes remaining, Garrett slipped past offensive lineman Orlando Brown Jr. and brought down quarterback Joe Burrow for a sack. The play gave him his 23rd of the 2025 season in Week 18, setting a new NFL single-season record. He eclipsed the previous mark of 22.5 sacks established by Michael Strahan in 2001 and later matched by T.J. Watt in 2021.
After Garrett broke the record, his teammates celebrated on the field with him, and defensive tackle Shelby Harris, during the celebration, gave the referee a high-five after the accomplishment.

Hart reacted to the humorous moment on X, posting, “93 (Harris’s jersey number) high-fiving the ref got me weak.”

It’s not the first time players have tried to get referees in on celebrations in sports. One X user reminded Hart and his followers of earlier this year when New York Giants quarterback Jaxon Dart high-fived the referee after a play. Seattle Seahawks fans remember when safety Earl Thomas tried to hug an official during a game against the New Orleans Saints. Thomas was flagged for the display of gleeful affection.
Garrett’s sack record was the main headline from a game between two teams that were already eliminated from the NFL playoffs.
The Browns defeated the Bengals 20-18. Cleveland finished the season 5-12, while the Bengals finished 6-11.
In the NBA, Hart has also become the center of humorous moments and memes.
Hart went viral online in 2019 when he reacted to James Harden slamming the ball in frustration after a bad call. The ball ricocheted off Harden’s face, and Hart’s meme-able expression showed off his lively personality back when he played for the New Orleans Pelicans.
More recently, Hart has built a lighthearted rapport with Jalen Brunson since joining him as a Knicks teammate. Following New York’s NBA Cup victory in December, Hart was captured on camera playfully teasing Brunson in a moment that quickly circulated among fans and became a viral meme.
