Playoff energy is heating up in Houston — and it’s not just coming from the players. Dillon Brooks’ girlfriend Mirna Habib just sent out a bold message that’s rallying fans ahead of the Rockets’ clash with the Warriors. With hype building and confidence soaring, the Toyota Center is ready for a showdown.

Habib Shows Rockets Pride With Iconic Red T-Shirt
Brooks’ girlfriend, Mirna, showed her support for the Rockets before their matchup against the Warriors. She posted a selfie on her Instagram story wearing a red T-shirt with “Houston Rockets” written in big letters alongside a skeleton in a suit, with the caption: “Playoffs Mood.”

Aside from her support, the Rockets are preparing for their series against the Warriors as it’s set to kick off on April 20. According to Michael Shapiro of the Houston Chronicle, head coach Ime Udoka revealed what they’ll focus on heading into the matchup.
Udoka said, “That game was pretty chippy up there. Our guys understand who does what. And that’s part of what Draymond does, it’s part of what makes him successful. He’s kind of the heart and soul of that team. Guys understand that competitive side, but I think what we do well favors us in the playoffs — being aggressive, being physical.”
Udoka also pointed to their defensive rating — 110.8 points allowed per 100 possessions — as a reason why the Rockets are leaning into their physical identity.
Fred VanVleet gave some insight into the team’s game plan for Golden State, saying, “The same thing we’ve been preaching for the last couple of months. Attention to detail, execution and focus. Obviously, you got to bring the physicality from the start — you know, just be who we are.”

Tari Eason also spoke about the Rockets’ first-round matchup with the Warriors, saying, “I really like the intensity, I really like where we’re headed, and I really like where we’re at.”
When asked why he’s been such a great fit in Udoka’s system over the past two years, Eason responded, “Like I said before, we’re dogs. I’m a dog, he’s a dog. And that’s just, you know, what it is. We run with each other, we fight everything.”
For their April 20 playoff game, the Rockets are expected to start Fred VanVleet (point guard), Jalen Green (shooting guard), Dillon Brooks (small forward), Jabari Smith Jr. (power forward), and Alperen Sengun (center), with Amen Thompson and Tari Eason as key contributors off the bench.
With the Toyota Center fired up and Mirna Habib’s support echoing the team’s spirit, Houston is ready to bring the fight on April 20.
