Khris Middleton is currently in the middle of his 14th NBA season. Recently, the 2021 NBA Champion was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Through his first six games with Dallas, Middleton is averaging 14.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 38.1% from three-point range.
There has been a lot of talk about Middleton being bought out of his contract before the March 1 deadline.

Marc Stein Reports Nuggets’ Interest in Khris Middleton Buyout
Marc Stein of “The Stein Line” recently reported intriguing news about the Denver Nuggets being a landing spot (if Middleton ends up on the open market).
Stein wrote, “Khris Middleton just told @TheSteinLine he is still weighing his options in advance of Sunday’s deadline to pursue a contract buyout … deciding whether to finish the season in Dallas or join a playoff team. League sources say Denver and other playoff teams have shown interest.”
Middleton was the 39th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
After his rookie season with the Detroit Pistons, Middleton had a legendary 12-year run with the Milwaukee Bucks, during which he made three All-Star appearances (and won a title).
Following the Bucks, the 34-year-old spent part of two seasons with the Washington Wizards. His career averages are 16.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.0% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range in 816 games.
Middleton wrote (on October 25), “Milwaukee.. hard to put last night into words but the love was felt! I appreciate the warm welcome back… Will forever be a special place for me!! Thank you for an unforgettable night!”
On X, the DNVR Nuggets posted a video of Stein captioned, “‘I know Denver would love to get him.’ -@TheSteinLine on Khris Middleton. Rumblings heading into tonight, per Stein were that Middleton would be staying in Dallas, but that could change before the March 1 deadline.”
