Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson and 3-time Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion have been heavily discussed in the last few days. The rapper accused Thompson of infidelity in a scathing Instagram rant, one that had a devastating impact on another basketball player.
Some social media accounts alleged that Thompson was involved with Lexie Brown, a former WNBA champion who currently plays for the Seattle Storm. But she has come forward and denied the shocking allegations herself, and has even admitted receiving death threats. Now, an NBA legend familiar to Brown has also come forward to defend her.

“I was getting threats on my life. I was getting threats on my health,” Brown said. “My family started getting comments and threats from people. I’ve had to hire security to travel with me places. So it got to a point where I was scared for myself,” the Storm guard mentioned to Fox recently.

Dee Brown, father of Lexie and a 12-year NBA veteran, spoke to Fox News Digital about the unnecessary backlash his daughter has faced.
He said, “As a father, watching the negative, hateful, and most importantly, false attacks lobbed at my daughter has been debilitating. Seeing her live in absolute fear and exhaustion over these false attacks, and then seeing these attacks repeated by so many media outlets without even a shred of proof is beyond horrifying.”
The WNBA star said she initially didn’t intend to respond to mere rumors, but was forced to when no one else did, especially from Thompson’s or Megan’s side.
Fans and analysts have also defended Brown against the shocking threats that she has been receiving, showing their love and support for the WNBA guard.
Thompson and Megan have not commented on Brown’s remarks so far. It is heartbreaking to see that Brown has had to face the backlash from a feud between two people who were not personally connected to her.
Brown admitted she knew Thompson as a friend, but clarified that it was because they both played pro basketball. But she also mentioned that she has no relationship with Megan.
