Bronny James Continues Offensive Impact in Lakers’ Game 4 Loss

Upon checking in to start the second quarter, Bronny, known primarily for his defensive tenacity, immediately began facilitating for his teammates. He first drove and set up big man Deandre Ayton for a one-handed alley-oop finish to narrowly beat the shot clock.

“Those minutes from Bronny were really good; he was always making the right play.
Maybe right now he’s not a true rotation player in the playoffs, clearly his usage is more about giving that boost to LeBron, you can see him more motivated with him on the court, but Bronny has the look of someone who’s going to be a great role player, I’m 100% sure of that,” NBA personality YostinNBA surmised.
“Nah, Bronny actually starting to look like a legit rotation player,” Lakers Daily suggested.

However, some noted that the 2024 No. 55 pick still appeared hesitant to shoot on some open looks.
“I actually feel bad for Bronny. He kills it in [the] G-League, but in [the] NBA, he seems scared to shoot. Probably because living up to his dad is impossible. He needs to disconnect from that and just be Bronny,” one user reacted.
With each of their five starters tallying 16-plus points, the Rockets kept their season alive with relative ease. The two sides will square off in Game 5 in Los Angeles on Wednesday, with Bronny and Co. looking to advance to Round 2 in front of their home fans.
