NASCAR Veteran Kenny Wallace Drops 5-Word Reaction to Team Penske’s Moment With Donald Trump

Kenny Wallace reacts as Team Penske meets President Trump at the White House. See what made this motorsport moment truly unforgettable.

You know something’s big when Roger Penske brings his race cars to the White House — and even the president can’t stop smiling. This week, Penske and his team rolled into Washington, D.C., with more horsepower than a Fourth of July parade, and it quickly turned into a celebration of speed, style and motorsport greatness.

Team Penske, representing NASCAR, IndyCar and IMSA, was honored at the White House by none other than President Donald Trump. Kenny Wallace, NASCAR’s outspoken veteran, had just five words to say after seeing it all.

Team Penske Took Over the White House Lawn

Penske didn’t come alone. He brought the full squad — NASCAR Cup Series champions Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano were there, along with Logano’s No. 22 Mustang. IndyCar star Josef Newgarden rolled in too, standing next to his Indy 500-winning No. 2 Chevy. Even the winners of the gruelling 2025 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona — Nick Tandy, Felipe Nasr and Laurens Vanthoor — showed up with their beastly Porsche 963.

If that wasn’t enough, President Trump met the entire crew in the Oval Office, snapped some pictures, shook hands with the drivers and chatted about racing. Then they headed outside, where Trump gave Penske big props for dominating across multiple racing series. He even hinted that he might show up at this year’s Indy 500.

He said, “I’ll have to get there, maybe this year, with you.” Penske replied with a smile, “You’ve got an open invitation.”

Kenny Wallace’s Simple, Proud Moment

Wallace took to X and dropped a five-word reaction that hit perfectly. He posted saying, “Best picture of the day.”

No drama, no politics — just pure respect for what Penske and his drivers have achieved. Wallace — who finished in the top ten 27 times in his popular NASCAR career — has been in the racing world for decades, and when he tips his cap, you know it means something.

Moments like this show how big NASCAR and American racing have become. It’s not just checkered flags and champagne anymore — it’s about legacy, leadership and, sometimes, a stop at the White House. Penske earned this one, and seeing drivers from NASCAR, IndyCar and IMSA all get that kind of spotlight was just cool.

Whether you’re a hardcore racing fan or just love a good underdog-to-champion story, this whole thing was heartwarming. And if Trump really does show up to the Indy 500? Well, let’s just say there’ll be even more eyes on the track this May.

Let’s hope “the Donald” doesn’t screw up the Indy fans as bad as he did the Daytona fans. We stood in line for over 45 min waiting to get through security and I know some people missed the start of the race .
