Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Effortless Brilliance in NASCAR 25 Promo Leaves Parker Kligerman in Awe

Dale Earnhardt Jr. wowed fans and caught Parker Kligerman off guard with his charisma in the newly released NASCAR 25 promo.

NASCAR 25 launches today on PlayStation and Xbox, and iRacing, the game’s developer, has dropped a promo to celebrate the release. Dale Earnhardt Jr. stars in the clip and steals the show with his signature charisma.

Earnhardt has never been camera-shy, but Parker Kligerman was taken aback by how natural he looked in the game’s promo clip.

Parker Kligerman Amazed by Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Charisma in NASCAR 25 Clip

The clip shows Earnhardt working on his classic Chevrolet 3100 truck in his garage. “Sometimes you gotta get back to your roots,” he said. “Remember where it all started.”

Then he steps away from the truck, and an old TV in the background plays clips from 2003’s NASCAR Thunder game.

The NASCAR Hall of Famer went on to explain that their goal was to create a game delivering the ultimate NASCAR experience — the fans, the rivalries, the music — everything had to be perfect.

Kligerman, who famously drove Connor Zilisch’s JR Motorsports car to Victory Lane at Daytona, was impressed by how effortlessly Earnhardt pulled off the promo. The 51-year-old looked so at ease that Kligerman thinks it was all done in a single take.

Earnhardt, of course, is no stranger to acting. He made cameos in Hollywood flicks like “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”, featured in Jay Z’s music video, and also made several commercials for top brands, including a Budweiser Super Bowl ad.

Earnhardt also had a hands-on role in developing NASCAR 25. iRacing appointed him as Executive Producer, and he passionately worked to make the game as realistic as possible.

He was so committed that he reached out to fans on social media for soundtrack recommendations and to artists for licensing the songs. Earnhardt also played a key role in developing the game’s career mode.

“In the career mode, you’ll be tasked with making decisions on how to spend your time,” Earnhardt said about the NASCAR 25 Career Mode earlier this year.

“And it’s not all about just what you do on the racetrack you’re going to have to do things to build your reputation and that might be charitable work or a movie opportunity, there’s going to be things that your sponsors ask you to do and you’ll have to balance between building your reputation in your brand and being successful on the racetrack,” he added.

The early reviews are coming in, and it looks like all the hard work Earnhardt has put into the game has paid off.
