Micah Parsons stood up for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones as the billionaire’s tour plans received backlash. The defensive anchor of the team stepped up to make himself be heard loud and clear.
The Dallas Cowboys offer one of the most hands-on experiences to their fans while visiting the facility. Jones’ brainchild is facing a lot of flak; however, Parsons wanted to set the record straight.
Micah Parsons Defends Jerry Jones’ Fan Tours
In a recent report by ESPN, the fan tours to the facility of the Cowboys have been made an issue. ESPN interviewed several former players of the franchise, which highlighted the disturbing and distracting nature of the tours.
As per ESPN, the Cowboys are the only team that offers a tour of their facility next to the players and staff from a glass door. “It’s gold when those players go through our complex out there and see fans,” Jones said to ESPN.
However, several of the former players did not enjoy their time being constantly running into fan tours. In such a situation, football practice becomes secondary, claimed several ex-Cowboys, including Jayron Kearse.
Parsons, however, dismissed the entire narrative while responding to excerpts from the report on X (formerly Twitter). “Sometimes you gotta call bull sh*t when you see it! This ain’t it,” he wrote.
Sometimes you gotta call bull shit when you see it ! This ain’t it 💩💩👎 https://t.co/eoNvYreTMd

Parsons’ tweet not only showed loyalty to the owner and the franchise but also stood up for the fans.
Since most of them have a positive experience on their visit to the Cowboys’ facility, a marque player putting it in a different light could help reframe the discussion.
Micah Parsons Wants Killer Instinct Against the 49ers
At 3-3, the Cowboys suffered one of their worst home defeats (47-9) against the Detroit Lions last time out. While Parsons was unable to suit up due to injury, he wants the mentality to change in the dressing room for the Week 8 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

“I think we’ve gotta go into these games and say, ‘We’ve gotta step on somebody’s neck,” Parsons said. “Just the simple things: being disciplined, can’t kill each other on red zone trips. Can’t kill each other on third downs.”
Earlier this week, Jones revealed that Parsons will be a game-time decision vs. the 49ers. America’s Team will face off against San Francisco on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.
