MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — His on-field production might be the worst it’s been since his rookie year, but Tyreek Hill’s trash talk game remains at a Hall of Fame level.
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver was in rare form during his weekly media availability Wednesday, filling up the notebook on a bunch of topics.
But Hill’s most entertaining comments were about a player who hasn’t stepped foot on an NFL field in three years: Antonio Brown.

Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill Roasts Antonio Brown
Brown’s career abruptly ended in the penultimate Sunday of the 2021 regular season, when after a heated sideline disagreement with then-Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians, he stripped down to his bare chest and did jumping jacks on his way to the locker room.
Arians cut him on the spot, and Brown’s life has pretty much spiraled since. He’s now known primarily as an internet troll. Brown uses his 2.2-million follower X account to stump for Donald Trump and post outlandish memes with the hashtag #CTESPN.

He’s also filed for bankruptcy after earning $80.7 million in his 12-year NFL career.
Since they’re both speedy and outspoken, Hill understands there are some who will draw comparisons between him and Brown. But Hill doesn’t want to repeat Brown’s mistakes.
He made that point when asked if he ever approaches Dolphins quarterbacks to make his case for targets during games.
“No I don’t. I don’t,” said Hill, who has just 23 catches for 286 yards and one touchdown in five games this year. “I just tell him, ‘Hey, man, let’s go. Keep going, keep going.’ But I’ve always been like that.
“My parents raised me in a different shape or form. I know a lot of people try to compare me to [Brown] all the time, but I’ll never run off the field and ruin my paycheck like that. I’m smarter. At the end of the day, I got kids to take care of. So I’m never gonna do that. Love AB to death. But I just feel like at the end of the day, man, if you put it on tape, my dad always tells me if you put it on tape, the eye in the sky, it won’t lie.”
PFN asked Hill if he believes that he’s playing at the same level as he did the previous two years, when he became the first player in league history with 1,700 yards in consecutive seasons.
His response?
“I’m doing my thing, man, regardless. You feel me? Cheetah gonna be Cheetah. You know, I ain’t gonna make no excuses. I ain’t gonna point anybody out, because that’s not what I do, man. But I will say, I’m Cheetah. I’m gonna deal with any circumstance that I got. I’m here for this team. I’m here for my brothers all day long.”
Cheetah on Cooper, Adams Trades
One more Hill flex on our way out:
He wasn’t fazed by the Davante Adams and Amari Cooper trades to the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, respectively.
“They still not the best receiver in the league,” Hill said. “And I stand on that. Yeah. What? What? I want my mama to send me this and say, yeah, ‘You talking your trash today,’ because I am.
“Nah, I’m very happy for Davante, teaming back up on his old quarterback. I know that’s obviously where he wanted to be. And as for Amari, yeah, I think him and Josh Allen, those two guys will play very well together. Amari is still like one of those guys that can get open, you know.
“So it’s gonna be like a good test man for our DBs whenever we play them. But we got Jalen Ramsey. So I’m straight.”
