    Live from the 2020 Reese’s Senior Bowl: Tuesday Practice Observations

    Tuesday is the first day of practice at the 2020 Reese's Senior Bowl and PFN has all of the action covered with several draft analysts, including Tony Pauline, on-site in Mobile.

    It’s late January and the NFL world has gathered in Mobile, Alabama. That can only mean one thing – the 2020 Reese’s Senior Bowl is here, signaling the unofficial start to the 2020 NFL Draft season. Team practice sessions get underway today and Pro Football Network has you covered all week with several draft analysts and reporters on-site in Mobile to bring you the latest news, notes, and buzz from around the NFL.

    PFN Draft Analyst and Insider Tony Pauline leads our coverage and will be joined by PFN draft analysts Matt Valdovinos, AJ Schulte, and Chris Spooner. In addition, PFN NFL Insider Benjamin Allbright and PFN contributors Cole Thompson, Bill Riccette, and Tommy Call are all in Mobile as well.

    The first practice of the week gets underway today at 2 pm ET when the South team takes the field at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. That will be followed by the North team at 4 pm ET. Our live practice observations will get underway just before 2 pm ET.

    Live observations from Tuesday’s 2020 Senior Bowl Practice

    5:29 ET: Only North DB really sticking out to me so far is Notre Dame’s Troy Pride. Rest have been up and down. WR’s winning the matchups more and more in this practice than in the South’s practice. – AJ Schulte

    5:06 ET: Matt Hennessy (Temple) vs Neville Gallimore (Oklahoma) in 1-on-1’s. Great rep for Gallimore. – Matt Valdovinos

    5:04 ET: UCLA RB Joshua Kelly is having a great practice. Incredible quickness and footwork. Also catching the ball very well. – Tony Pauline

    5:04 ET: Baylor WR Denzel Mims and OSU WR KJ Hill have started strong today. Continuing to impress. – AJ Schulte

    4:58 ET: Dayton TE Adam Trautman living up to expectations during practice. As someone said, “he looks better than the receivers.” – Tony Pauline

    3:28 pm ET: Penn State DT Robert Windsor is a technician with a hot motor. Reminds me a lot of Matt Ioannidis coming out of Temple. – Matt Valdovinos

    3:25 pm ET: Florida EDGE Jonathan Greenard just dominated South Carolina State OT Alex Taylor; explosive first step and toasted him. Greenard has been impressive so far here at the Senior Bowl. – AJ Schulte

    3:21 pm ET: UCLA cornerback Darnay Holmes is looking really good during drills and scrimmage. Multiple “wow” plays. – Tony Pauline

    3:14 pm ET: Impressed with tight end Harrison Bryant of FAU thus far. Runs good routes. A lot of nice catches. – Tony Pauline

    3:13 pm ET: Oregon QB Justin Herbert is having a real nice first Senior Bowl practice. On the mark and threading the needle with many of his throws. – Tony Pauline

    3:05 pm ET: South Carolina DT Javon Kinlaw has dominated today, particularly in one-on-one’s against Clemson guard John Simpson. – Matt Valdovinos

    3:01 pm ET: Texas WR Collin Johnson just pulled a move on Pittsburgh DB Dane Jackson that had the stadium “oooh-ing.” – AJ Schulte

    3:00 pm ET: Been really impressed with Florida WR Van Jefferson so far here at the Senior Bowl. Looks fluid in drills, technique a major plus. Constantly getting open here. – AJ Schulte

    1:52 pm ET: It was 85 degrees at Shrine practice last week. For the first day of Senior Bowl practice, it’s 40 degrees and windy. – Tony Pauline
