The NFL is known for its namesake and the drama surrounding free agency, the draft, and the coaching carousel. Other times, relationships like the one between Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce and pop superstar Taylor Swift surface.
After Kelce and Swift’s relationship took the league by storm, we have another NFL player dating a big-time celebrity, as Odell Beckham Jr. and Kim Kardashian are romantically involved. But how serious is their relationship?
Odell Beckham Jr. Is Keeping Up With the Kardashians…Somewhat
Kris Jenner, the 68-year-old matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family, appeared at AmfAR Palm Beach with boyfriend Corey Gamble. The event is in tribute to Dionne Warwick and Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger and is organized by the AIDS Research Foundation.
There, she spoke with PEOPLE about her relationship with Gamble, Kim Kardashian’s with Odell Beckham Jr., and Kendall Jenner’s rekindling of her relationship with Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker.
“All of us are having fun, and we have no marriage plans — yet,” Kris Jenner said to PEOPLE.
Beckham and Kardashian were first spotted at a July 4 party. Since then, the two began hanging out during the beginning of the NFL season in September, according to PEOPLE. Beckham formerly dated model Lauren Wood, who is the mother of his son.
Kardashian, 43, and Beckham reportedly aren’t necessarily hurrying to speed up the relationship. As recently as February, an insider to PEOPLE said, “Neither of them are in any big hurry to jump into something serious.”
Beckham Headed Into Free Agency
Beckham is set to become a free agent on March 13 with the beginning of the new league year. He’s coming off of his first season since returning from an ACL tear, where he posted 35 receptions, 565 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns with the Baltimore Ravens during the regular season.
Beckham had four receptions for 34 yards in two playoff games and signed a one-year, $15 million deal with the Ravens prior to the season. His contract included a $13.835 million signing bonus and has $11,068,000 next season, per Spotrac.
