The Chiefs vs. Cardinals will be playing in their second week of preseason action. Both teams looked good in their first games and will continue to try and build off of that this week. Let’s take a look at the start time, TV channel, how you can live stream the game, and the current NFL odds for Chiefs vs. Cardinals.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Arizona Cardinals | Preseason Week 2
Although we did not get to see Patrick Mahomes much in the first game of the preseason, head coach Andy Reid has said this week that he expects to play his starters for at least a half. Anthony Gordon did a serviceable job in the first preseason game, going 11/17 for 79 yards.
Arizona’s preseason started with a victory as they defeated the Dallas Cowboys 19-16. Arizona got ahead early with a 10-6 lead heading into halftime. From that point on, they never looked back. QB Chris Streveler spent most of his time as the starter, passing for 107 yards. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury has yet to say whether the starters will get any playing time in this one.

Chiefs vs. Cardinals | Current NFL odds, spreads, betting lines, and predictions
- Spread: Chiefs -2.5 (-125)
- Moneyline:Â Chiefs -140, Cardinals +120
- Total: 41.5 (Over -110, Under -110)
How can you bet against Patrick Mahomes (albeit just for a half) and this Chiefs offense laying less than a field goal? Even if Kyler Murray gets some playing time, I still have more confidence in what Kansas City will be able to do against a defense that is still trying to figure itself out.
Even though I like the Chiefs to put up points in this matchup, I would stay away from the total. 41.5 is quite high for a preseason game, especially when you look at last week’s results. Out of the 16-game slate, not one contest went over that number.
