Justin Fields is in his third season with the Chicago Bears. He was drafted from Ohio State in 2021 and invested in a sleek home with his earnings.

Justin Fields is at an interesting crossroads moment in his career with the Chicago Bears. The Bears are a franchise looking to get back to their winning ways, while Fields is in his third season trying to prove that he is the man for the job.

Fields was drafted out of Ohio State with the 11th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. With some of that money, he got a sweet place in Illinois, helping to build a life in his new home.

What does his house look like?

Fields’ home is in Lake Forest, Illinois — the suburb he chose to settle in and started to live out his NFL life after joining the Bears. He made his intentions clear from the beginning when he bought a home with one of his first NFL checks.

Fields paid $1.3 million for the nearly 6,000-square-foot home, and the property currently serves as his primary residence. Oftentimes, with NFL players, not only are these purchases roots for them to put down in their new areas, but they are also looked at as shrewd business moves as well.

Fields’ 5,876-square-foot mansion includes seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, as well as a three-car garage. The home boasts a beautiful stone exterior and a lush, sprawling backyard with an in-ground swimming pool, perfect for Fields to relax in his downtime or even host friends and families all year.

Fields’ career is just starting, but the home may have been a smart investment that he can add to his portfolio off the field as he looks to build his résumé on the field as well.

This is an important home stretch of the season for Fields. The young QB is in the midst of trying to prove to the Bears and the rest of the league that he belongs as a starting quarterback. He has had to overcome struggles and challenges to this point, but his talent is evident.

Whether Fields is able to prove that on the field with the remaining seven weeks of the season will be key to his future and longevity in the NFL. The Bears have questions that need answering, and one of them is if Fields is the guy for the job going forward.
