Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens and gymnastics superstar Simone Biles are nearing completion of their highly anticipated $3 million Texas home. The construction kicked off in September 2023, and their new residence is nearing the finish line just in time for some big moments in their lives.
Simone Biles Can’t Wait To Start Family with Jonathan Owens in New House
Owens, who is currently in the midst of the NFL season, and Biles, fresh off an incredibly successful Paris Olympics run, took to social media to update fans with a sneak peek at the latest progress on their dream home.
In his Instagram story, Owens reshared a collage from his wife Simone’s story that included a picture of the outdoor area and poolside with a scenic water view in the background. The pool construction appears underway, with the surrounding layout beginning to take shape.
Another picture captured the garage and driveway, built with modern and sleek black doors, offering a polished look that aligns with the rest of the home’s stylish design.
Owens’ collage included a marble accent wall and kitchen with impressive, bold black and white patterns, giving the kitchen a striking, luxurious look. The laundry room also featured a modern setup with multiple black washing machines and dryers and ample storage space with white cabinets above.
The story was captioned, “Obviously had to check on the progress at the new house.” Owens added his excitement with, “The crib!!! Coming along,” showing how thrilled they are with their new home’s development.
The timing couldn’t be better, with Biles and Owens looking forward to moving into their new home once her second Gold Over America Tour, celebrating top Olympians, concludes. The tour kicked off on Sept. 16 and wraps up on Nov. 3 while Owens continues his season with the Bears.
Biles took the lead in designing her and Owens’ dream Texas home. In an interview with People last month, the 27-year-old Olympian shared excitement not just for moving into the new space but also for the potential of starting a family there in the future.
“Jonathan is very low-key and let me lead with the design and build process,” she said, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to craft their ideal home together.
The couple, who married in April 2023, has been steadily working on the property, with Biles regularly posting construction updates on Instagram.
While she hasn’t announced any retirement plans, Biles hinted that she hasn’t ruled out participating in the LA 2028 Olympics. She’s focused on the Gold Over America Tour and looks forward to the day she and Owens can settle into their new home and, perhaps, expand their family.
