Jets Fans Are Shocked as Sauce Gardner Refuses To Take the Blame

One NFL reporter posted a few stats from the game, highlighting that the Jets’ defense had missed 20 tackles. He highlighted that Gardner’s miss was the costliest. The two-time Pro Bowler replied to the reporter on X (previously Twitter) in a since-deleted tweet.

“Yup I’m 100% sure me missing that tackle at the beginning of the 2nd quarter for a gain of 17 yards was the costliest miss and that is in fact what lost us the game,” tweeted Gardner.

The 2022 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year deleted the tweet soon after, however, one fan had managed to screenshot it. The fan posted the screenshot and wrote, “From top to bottom the Jets are a disaster. No accountability. No leadership. Immaturity. Bunch of names & not a team. It’s embarrassing.”

Other fans piled on as well. “We really hitting diva arcs now. Worst timeline continues,” one fan added.

“Sauce is the most overrated player of all time in any sport,” responded a fan.

“Wow that’s terrible … he makes that tackle the Jets stay in the game He’s been horrible the whole year,” one fan tweeted.

“Gardner has been doing this all year…. Dude is a complete fraud and loser himself,” added a fan.

“Begging Ahmad to log off and take some accountability,” a fan tweeted.
