The Cleveland Browns will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, especially regarding RB Jerome Ford.

Is Jerome Ford Playing in Week 7?
Jerome Ford left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury and did not return. He failed to practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 7.
Even when he gets healthy, Ford will no longer be the Browns’ primary running back. Nick Chubb is set to return and play for the first time in more than a year on Sunday. Even if Cleveland reduces his workload in Week 7, Chubb will undoubtedly handle most of the club’s backfield work moving forward, rendering Ford irrelevant.

Should You Cut Jerome Ford?
A hamstring yanked Ford off the field early in the losing effort to the Eagles on Sunday, and with Nick Chubb expected to make his season debut, his time as a Flex option has come to an end.
I wouldn’t cut ties with him given Chubb’s uncertainty, but he’s now strictly a handcuff that is highly unlikely to hold stand-alone value in a below-average offense as a secondary back.
Even with the injury resulting in missed time, I’m holding Ford. I don’t think he’s a special player, but there’s a path to work for him that doesn’t include much to happen and the Browns face the Bengals/Dolphins during the fantasy Super Bowl.
Ford is unlikely to get back into my lineup this season, but the small chance that he is the lead back at the perfect time is enough to hold my interest for now.
