Jason and Travis Kelce Could Earn $100 Million on New Heights Podcast Deal According to Industry Expert

Jason Kelce might have announced his retirement from the NFL, but his media career is reaching new heights. The former Philadelphia Eagle, alongside his brother, Kansas City Chiefs star TE Travis Kelce, are due for a new podcast deal, and according to one industry expert, they could be compensated up to $100 million for it.

Jason and Travis Kelce Could Get $100 Million Podcast Deal

Travis and Jason Kelce have one of the biggest podcasts out right now. Their New Heights podcast is listed at No. 40 on Apple Podcasts in the United States, along with the No. 3 sports podcast and the No. 2 American football podcast, per Chartable.

“Companies want Jason and Travis Kelce‘s podcast because of the deep relationship they have with their audiences,” Eric Silver, head of development at Multitude, a podcast collective studio and ad-sales provider, said via MarketWatch.

“That’s the most important thing in podcasting. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was $100 million.”

This is coming off of the heels of a Bloomberg story by Ashley Carman, where the reporter wrote:

“Meanwhile, two of the biggest sports podcasters — Travis and Jason Kelce — are also having conversations about a potential deal for New Heights. The show was already popular among football fans but got an extra boost last year when Travis went public with his romantic relationship with Taylor Swift. Industry executives believe the deal could go for eight figures.”

Jason Kelce, 36, announced his retirement on Monday. The 13-year professional played in 193 games over the course of his NFL career and started in each one. He’s a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, six-time All-Pro, and a Super Bowl champion with the Eagles.

On the flip side, Travis could be joining his brother in retirement in the near future. He mentioned back in November to Wall Street Journal’s J.R. Moehringer that he’s considered retirement “more than anyone could ever imagine.”

“That’s the only thing I’ve never really been open about, the discomfort. The pain,” Kelce said. “The lingering injuries. The 10 surgeries I’ve had that I still feel every single surgery to this day.”

Ahead of Kansas City’s matchup with Miami, Travis reneged on his previous thoughts.

“I have no reason to stop playing football,” he said. “I love it… I have no desire to stop anytime soon.”

Travis, who dates pop superstar Taylor Swift, has had a storied NFL career with three Super Bowl victories, nine Pro Bowl selections, and four All-Pros. For 2024, Kelce and the Chiefs are looking to become the first team in NFL history to three-peat as Super Bowl champions.
