Week 1 of the 2022-2023 NFL season has almost wrapped up, with one game remaining on the docket. Will Week 1 feature an ESPN Manningcast of the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks game? While the football action kept fans on the edge of their seats Sunday afternoon, Russell Wilson’s return to Seattle Monday night only adds to a rich opening week. Peyton and Eli Manning kick things off with the rest of the NFL fans in Week 1 as they cover Wilson’s first start for the Broncos following the blockbuster trade this offseason. The ManningCast coverage of Monday Night Football returns for a second season after a very successful 2021 run.
Fans quickly fell in love with the brothers’ unique and semi-professional coverage while also being joined by various guests, from current and former players to a vast swath of celebrities. As of now, the guests for their coverage of the Broncos and Seattle game are not known, but Omaha Productions tends to announce them at some point before the game starts.
It will be interesting to see how Peyton and Eli react to Wilson’s first game in Nathaniel Hackett’s offense and the current QB conundrum in Seattle. While they will not cover every game this season, you can see the schedule of when the ManningCast will be on ESPN below.
