With Week 10 behind us, it’s time to look ahead for our fantasy football leagues. This coming week marks the halfway point of the regular season!
The IDP report will provide an early look at several waiver wire priorities of varying league sizes, along with preliminary Week 11 IDP rankings. Since all leagues are different sizes and have differing IDP requirements, the weekly rankings might be more beneficial than the waiver list.
As usual, the rankings are a reflection of IDP Flex rankings for tackle-heavy formats.
Josh Paschal, DE, Detroit Lions
Josh Paschal had been discussed in an earlier article but then proceeded to miss a few weeks due to sickness. He finally returned this last week and took over right where he left off.
Paschal hasn’t gotten the extended run you’d expect from a former Day 2 pick, but he’s clearly showing value for the Detroit Lions and IDP managers.
In his two games over 80% of snaps (after the Aidan Hutchinson injury), Paschal has posted tackle totals of four and five. He’s also tallied a sack in each of those games.
Now he gets a Jacksonville squad the Lions are sure to take a decent lead on and in which traded its top offensive tackle. Fire Paschal up where needed this week.
Jack Gibbens, LB, Tennessee Titans
I may have missed the mark of not recommending Jack Gibbens last week, but if he’s still out there, go and get him.
If you guys are dragging you feet, take it from me, GET JACK GIBBENS NOW.
Young 25 year old linebacker, 29 tackles in the 2 weeks he’s gotten snaps and a tasty 3 week schedule ahead. He’s the perfect playoff push IDP LB
— Matthew Montgomery (@mattmontyff) November 12, 2024
The concern was how the Tennessee Titans’ newer linebacker additions would affect Gibbens, but I’d discard those concerns going forward.
In the last two games — both 100% snap games — Gibbens posted 14 and 15 tackle performances. He also got half a sack in Week 9.
It doesn’t look like the Titans plan to pull Gibbens for Jerome Baker, so keep him locked into lineups if you’re lucky enough to find him on waivers.
Omar Speights, LB, Los Angeles Rams
Since Gibbens will likely only be out there in shallow leagues, let’s toss out a deep cut.
Omar Speights has been a name I’ve been keeping close tabs on ever since the Los Angeles Rams sent Ernest Jones IV packing. It appears Troy Reeder’s injury has opened the door, and I’m not sure Speights wants to give the job back.
Speights, the undrafted rookie free agent, popped off in the preseason but hasn’t seen a ton of time until recently. This week, he hit nearly 75% of snaps and led the Rams with eight tackles on Monday Night Football. I’d be surprised if that playing time wasn’t similar in the coming week.
Jordan Battle, S, Cincinnati Bengals
The DB ranks do not have many high-end options this week, so I’ll recommend a player I think the Cincinnati Bengals have finally figured out is one of their top safeties. Jordan Battle crushed it as an IDP option for managers last year but, for some reason, has been sitting behind Vonn Bell this year.
There’s a decent risk here. Battle has been at around a 50/50 split with Bell the last two weeks, and the Bengals go on bye in Week 12. Over those two games, Bell has totaled five tackles while Battle has totaled 12.
In a pinch, Battle could be thrown in there, but he feels like a potential league winner if he can get past the current timeshare.

Top IDP Players To Start in Week 11
Daiyan Henley, LB, Los Angeles Chargers
Probably the last time I’ll talk about Daiyan Henley as a start is this week. Not because he’s underserving of it, but because he’s going to be a “must start” for me going forward. He’s one of the top young linebackers in the game and belongs in everyone’s lineup rest of season.
Over the last three weeks, Henley has hit tackle totals of 11, 14, and 14. That’s just a ridiculous ceiling weekly, and he seems capable of repeating it. If your league differentiates solo vs. assist tackles, he’s had more solo than assists each of those three weeks. Absolute smash start for the rest of the year.
Ernest Jones IV, LB, Seattle Seahawks
The shocker in the IDP world came when the Seattle Seahawks cut starting LB Tyrel Dodson. He’s latched on with the Dolphins, leaving Ernest Jones IV as Seattle’s locked and loaded full-time linebacker.
Since joining Seattle, Jones has been solid. He’s averaging 12 tackles in the two games, which is fantastic while learning the defense. Now, coming off the bye, expect a fully integrated Jones to take on the green dot role for the remainder of the season.
