Another preseason means the return of HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” With the New York Jets in the spotlight and two games into their preseason schedule, when can you catch them again for Episode 2? Here’s when you can watch HBO’s 18th preseason showing this week.
How To Watch, Stream HBO’s 2023 Hard Knocks: Episode 2 of New York Jets Training Camp
The choice of the Jets gives HBO additional time for the Hard Knocks 2023 season, as New York is one of two teams playing four preseason games. Episode 2 will focus heavily on the Jets’ reaction to the Hall of Fame Game loss to the Browns, building up to the official start of the preseason and the highs of their 27-0 pummeling of the Carolina Panthers.
While Jets fans anxiously await to see Aaron Rodgers get some playing time this preseason, HBO has them covered with all the Rodgers content they could dream of and more. While it’s no surprise, the four-time NFL MVP was all smiles on Episode 1, giving the team, fans, and even the HBO crew a great time as the “host.”
While the football world may have to wait until the Jets’ final preseason game against the Giants to see Rodgers’ debut with Gang Green, Hard Knocks should give everyone plenty to survive until then.

Storylines To Watch
- Does Zach Wilson have the edge? After two games and an impressive attitude change this offseason, 2021 second-overall pick Zach Wilson had made quite the impression. With two solid preseason performances under his belt already, the QB2 position seems to be his to lose.
- The RB Room: Rookie RB Israel Abanikanda has made a thunderous entrance into the Jets backfield, carrying the ball 21 times for 83 yards and a touchdown. With two more games in the preseason, will Abanikanda continue to put some heat on Michael Carter as he zeros in on the RB2 slot behind Breece Hall?
