Georgia Bulldogs tight end Brock Bowers has been one of the nation’s best players since his freshman year. The reigning John Mackey Award winner is projected to be taken early on in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, and his playmaking year after year has made him a household name in college football and has brought him plenty of NIL opportunities.
How Much Does Brock Bowers Make From NIL?
Thanks to the new NIL (name, image, and likeness) rules that allow college athletes to make money from their personal brand and endorsements, Bowers is now one of the top-earning college football players in the country.

Based on his current partnerships, Bowers has an estimated NIL value of $693,000, putting him 39th among active college football players. This comes as no surprise after a freshman season that saw him listed as an All-American, followed up by a sophomore season with another All-American honor and a John Mackey Award, handed out to the nation’s best tight end.
Bowers has been inking NIL deals since his freshman season ended, and some of his most notable partnerships are:
- Zaxby’s
- Morgan & Morgan
- NOBULL
- ZOA Energy
- Dick’s Sporting Goods
- Associated Credit Union
Bowers also adds more NIL income through his social media channels, with a base of 98,000 followers on Instagram and 17,200 on Twitter. Bowers doesn’t post often, but when he does, the content is centered around advertisements and promotions for his NIL partners and their products.
As one of the most recognized athletes on a Georgia team that has won back-to-back national championships, it’s no surprise Bowers has these opportunities. Most NIL opportunities have gone to quarterbacks, but Bowers has been arguably the most important player on both of those title runs for the Bulldogs, earning him plenty of notoriety.
The Georgia tight end is likely going to be drafted early on in the upcoming NFL Draft, given his consistent production and game-breaking ability. Bowers’ fluidity in space and reported 4.4 speed makes him difficult for defenses to cover.
Miller called Bowers “one of the most significant chess pieces we’ve seen in recent history,” based on his mismatch ability against NFL defenses. His full scouting report can be found here.
In Pro Football Network’s latest mock draft, Bowers was drafted in the top 10, giving him a rookie contract base of well over $20 million. This rookie deal, when combined with the NIL opportunities that Bowers has signed, affords Bowers a luxury many college athletes haven’t had before, a sign of the changing times in college athletics nationwide.
