Has Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Ever Won a Super Bowl?

Lamar Jackson has achieved quite a bit throughout his young NFL career, winning the league’s MVP award in 2019 and 2023 and earning a trio of Pro Bowl selections through his first six professional seasons.

How has the Baltimore Ravens‘ star quarterback fared in the postseason, and has he won a Super Bowl? Let’s review Jackson’s postseason résumé.

How Has Lamar Jackson Performed in the Postseason?

Jackson quickly became an impact player for the Ravens after being selected with the 32nd overall pick at the end of the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He appeared in all 16 games as a rookie, including seven starts, throwing for 1,201 yards and rushing for 695 more to help Baltimore reach 10-6, splitting time with Joe Flacco.

Jackson then made a sizable jump in production in 2019, leading the Ravens to a 13-2 record across his 15 starts on the year as he earned the NFL’s MVP honors for a ridiculously productive season. He threw for 3,127 yards and 36 touchdowns with just six interceptions, adding 1,206 rushing yards for seven more scores as well.

Jackson has remained productive since then, even with injuries limiting his playing time in 2021 and 2022.

He finally remained healthy for a full season in 2023, making 16 starts before sitting out the regular season finale with Baltimore’s No. 1 seed already secured.

Even with that one game missed, Jackson’s candidacy for a second MVP award was cemented after throwing for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns, and just seven interceptions while rushing for 821 yards and five more scores for the 13-4 Ravens.

Beyond those individual accolades, however, Jackson has struggled to find much team success in the playoffs.

He has made six career postseason starts, losing his first two in the Wild Card round in 2018 and the Divisional Round in 2019 before winning a Wild Card matchup with the Tennessee Titans in 2020, then losing to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round. Last season, Jackson led the Ravens to their first AFC Championship Game since 2012, falling short at home to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, 17-10.

All in all, Jackson’s playoff track record is less than stellar. He has completed a combined just 57.4% of his pass attempts for 1,324 yards, six touchdowns, and six interceptions, alongside rushing for 521 yards and three rushing scores across those six postseason appearances.

He’s still seeking that first Lombardi Trophy — the one gap left in his legacy.
