Even with Taylor Swift’s continued presence at Kansas City Chiefs games, another singer and actress was known for her occasional appearances at different NFL contests: Hailee Steinfeld, also known as the romantic link to Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen.
With Allen and the Bills set to grab the national spotlight on Thursday against their AFC East rival, the Miami Dolphins, it’s time to dive into whether the celebrity will be supporting her beau at Hard Rock Stadium.
Details Emerge on Hailee Steinfeld’s Rumored Appearance
The co-star of the Disney+ series “Hawkeye” was not in attendance one year ago when these two teams met for the regular season finale. Steinfeld was attending the 81st Golden Globe Awards, which conflicted with her ability to watch the battle for the division title.
With no national awards show scheduled for Thursday night, will this mean she’ll be watching Allen in action?
Much like Swift, Steinfeld and her reps are usually mum about her pending appearances for NFL contests. There’s no official word on whether she will be sitting in a suite to watch Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football opener.
As it is, her personal Instagram page makes no mention of an appearance in Miami, either via an Instagram story or a post. Her last Instagram post shared publicly on Sept. 4 showed her in Paris to help promote her new project called “Beau Society,” which is her new newsletter.
While her attendance status for TNF is still to be determined, the star of projects like “Hawkeye,” “Bumblebee,” and the animated Spiderman films “Into the Spider-Verse” and “Across the Spider-Verse” did make the news involving Allen.
Steinfeld Had Personal Announcement Before Bills’ Opener
Turns out Steinfeld had two personal announcements involving Allen.
One revealed how Allen was in Paris with the actress before the season. Both have kept their relationship fairly private, even in the era of social media. But “Beau Society” did reveal details that Allen was in the “City of Light.”
“What makes Paris Paris is its specificity. I think about my most recent trip often. I was in the City of Love with my love (highly recommend),” the post read.
One fan chimed in, noticing how wide Allen’s smile was. Perhaps both were taking in the recent Summer Olympic games held in Paris recently in July/August. Yet, that post helped make their relationship “Instagram official” despite their relationship surpassing one year.
But before Allen’s Bills took on the Arizona Cardinals to start the 2024 season, Steinfeld used her own time to promote one major tease: a new Netflix series she’s a part of.
Steinfeld teased the upcoming season for the hit animated show “Arcane” on her IG stories a day before the Week 1 contest. In it, she reveals the poster art for the series, which officially streams in Nov. 2024.
The singer/actress, however, ended up witnessing a brief scare involving her love interest during the Bills-Cardinals game. Allen briefly went down with a left-hand injury and had to be medically checked out. Allen, though, managed to play with a bandaged hand and helped lead Buffalo to its 34-28 home opener victory.
