- Fires off the snap with a tremendous first step, plays with outstanding pad level, and consistently gets leverage on opponents
- Very effective with his hands, explosive, and quick in all his movements
- Nicely redirects to the play and shows ability rushing the passer or stuffing the run
Areas for improvement
- Struggles getting off blocks and gets handled by a single opponent
- Lacks a dominant base and arm length
- Can keep refining his hand usage
How does Wyatt project in the Packers’ depth chart?
The interior of the Packers’ defense looks very solid. Slotting Wyatt in with Kenny Clark, Jarran Reed, and Dean Lowry gives them a ton of options. While the position may not have been the biggest need, the Packers look very solid upfront with this group. Adding both Wyatt and Quay Walker in the first round will certainly make the Packers more stout against the run going forward.
