Green Bay Packers 53-man roster projection: Will Taylor Goodson or Patrick Taylor be RB3?

The Green Bay Packers' 53-man roster may have a big hole at wide receiver, but they are incredibly strong at almost every other position on the field.

The Green Bay Packers‘ 53-man roster is also one of the deeper teams in the league, at least on paper. They’ve invested heavily into the offensive line recently, and they have a first-round pick that may not even start full-time in Year 1.

Green Bay Packers 53-man roster projection

A Packers roster with a healthy Elgton Jenkins gives them the freedom to carry fewer offensive linemen than other teams. Still, they’ll most likely go light on quarterback and running back, so they can carry a normal amount of linemen while going a bit light on offense overall.

Starters will be annotated with an asterisk.

The Packers have won 13 games in three straight years heading into the 2022 regular season. But those 39 wins have yet to lead to a Super Bowl birth under head coach Matt LaFleur. With so much talent heading to the AFC from the NFC, the Packers could once again have an easy road to the top seed in the conference.

The Packers’ defense is one of the most complete units in the NFL when healthy. They have top-tier talents at each level of the defense, and the only real low point on the roster is at receiver. But the Packers must have done that somewhat by design because they have the two-time reigning MVP in Rodgers.
