Tight End University (TEU) kicked off its fifth edition on the campus of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., on June 23. The elite training event was founded by San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, Kansas City Chiefs standout Travis Kelce, and former Pro Bowler Greg Olsen in 2021. Although TEU was created to bring the tight end community together, it has grown into an elite-level training event that spans four days.
TEU’s founding trio was spotted together during a photo session. The 49ers’ star’s wife shared a glimpse of the tight ends with a candid caption.
George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen Lead TEU 2025 With Charity and Brotherhood
With the leadership and guidance of Kittle, Kelce, and Olsen, TEU continues to evolve. In 2025, 75 tight ends will work together to teach, support, and learn while also contributing to a great cause.
All the proceeds raised via sponsorships and organizations involved are donated to charities selected by the three founders. Current tight end legends Kittle and Kelce, along with former Pro Bowler Olsen, posed for some pictures at the event. TEU’s Instagram handle posted a reel of the trio getting photographed.

Kittle’s wife, Claire, shared it on her Instagram account with, “My favorite boys. The band is back together.”

Kittle and Kelce are among the highest-paid tight ends in the league, and they hope not only to help players improve but also protect the position from becoming undervalued. They recognize that the position is a unique one. Tight ends have to be able not only to catch passes but also to block effectively and occasionally run the football.
Star-Studded 2025 TEU Roster Features Notable Absences
With undeniable talent across the board, the 2025 rendition of the four-day camp looks to be a thrilling one. Reigning Super Bowl champion Dallas Goedert of the Philadelphia Eagles, second-year phenom Brock Bowers of the Las Vegas Raiders, and breakout talent Trey McBride of the Arizona Cardinals are just a few of the 75 attendees. The full group is listed on TEU’s Instagram account.
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth, Baltimore Ravens star Mark Andrews, and Detroit Lions standout Sam LaPorta are just three of the surprising names to be left out of this year’s event. The absence of these established stars provides opportunities for other tight ends to showcase their skills at the premier position gathering.
The curriculum encompasses a wide range of topics, including run blocking techniques, pass protection, route running, and reading defensive coverages. Former Indianapolis Colts great Dallas Clark and other NFL legends regularly contribute as guest instructors, sharing their expertise with the next generation of players.
At TEU, players will be able to engage in film studies, on-field activities, and delve into in-depth off-field recovery tactics. With each player hoping to make the person next to them better, TEU is a growth experience.
As Kittle, Kelce, and Olsen look to put on yet another thrilling event, the 2025 event will also feature several celebrity appearances. These include but are not limited to performances by country music artists Jordan Davis, Chase Rice, Sophia Scott, and Graham Barham. The entertainment component adds another layer to what has become much more than just a football camp, creating a comprehensive experience for attendees.
