Kittle went to the 49ers’ locker room with 38 seconds remaining before halftime.
While it remains unclear when he suffered an injury, Kittle is questionable to return with an ankle issue.
Fortunately, Kittle re-entered Sunday’s game when the 49ers began their first drive of the third quarter. He appears to have avoided a serious injury.

Kittle hurt his hamstring in the 49ers’ practices leading up to Week 3 and didn’t play in the club’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He was limited in practices ahead of Week 4.
On Sunday, Kittle caught all three of his targets for 38 yards and a touchdown before departing.
The 49ers have two other tight ends — Eric Saubert and Jake Tonges — on their roster. Saubert played 81% of the club’s snaps in Week 3 with Kittle sidelined.
San Francisco is already without star RB Christian McCaffrey, who’s on injured reserve and could miss another month or more with an Achilles injury. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. sat out Week 3 with a calf injury but suited up for today’s game.
