Fantasy WR Injury Report | Week 15

Keeping your fantasy football team up to date is crucial for success during the fantasy football playoffs. Some of the most notable pass-catchers on the fantasy WR injury update for Week 15, as aforementioned, include Calvin Ridley, Michael Thomas, Marquise Brown, Kenny Golladay, Curtis Samuel, and Julio Jones. That’s a lot of potential points that could sway what happens in your playoff game.

Below is information regarding their Week 15 fantasy injury report and status, along with additional wide receivers around the league — those of which are sorted by conference.

What is Calvin Ridley’s status going into Week 15?

Update, Sunday, December 20th: Calvin Ridley is active for the Atlanta Falcons Week 15 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Atlanta Falcons’ receiver Calvin Ridley has been playing through a mid-foot sprain this season. He was limited in practice this week, and his status for Week 15 is in question. Ridley has over 1,000 receiving yards this season, but his production has fluctuated from week-to-week. His production has also been hurt when teammate Julio Jones is sidelined. Calvin Ridley will likely be on a limited snap count against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Week 15 if he is able to play on Sunday.

Michael Thomas is likely done for the regular season

In an effort to keep their star receiver healthy for the postseason, the New Orleans Saints have made a decision on Michael Thomas. With Thomas dealing with a high ankle sprain for most of the season, the Saints put Thomas on injured reserve ahead of their Week 15 contest.

Michael Thomas has been mostly a disappointment for fantasy owners this season who took him early in drafts. He has only played in seven games this season, catching 40 passes on the year. The Saints plan to have their star receiver healthy for the playoffs, but it hurts fantasy owners for the ongoing playoff games.

Marquise Brown likely to play in Week 15

Update, Sunday, December 20th: Marquise Brown is active for the Baltimore Ravens Week 15 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After being put on the reserve list, the Baltimore Ravens will be getting back their speedy receiver for Week 15. Marquise Brown is set to return this week, according to coach John Harbaugh. Brown should be available to play against the Jaguars on Sunday.

After having a slow start to the season, Brown has scored in three straight games for the Ravens. His recent success has been great for fantasy football managers who banked on him having a big year. Lamar Jackson will have his most trusted perimeter threat.

Kenny Golladay will miss yet another game in Week 15

A WR who is used to being on the fantasy injury report, Lions’ WR Kenny Golladay will miss another game. While he is trying to come back from the injury, it’s likely he won’t see the field again this season. He hasn’t played since before Thanksgiving and has been struggling to return to form. It’s probably best for fantasy football managers to move on from him for the remainder of the season. Stafford shareholders will need to pivot accordingly as well.

Curtis Samuel remains questionable for Week 15

The Carolina Panthers could be without one of their most dynamic receiving options for Week 15. Wide receiver Curtis Samuel remains questionable for Week 15 because of a hamstring injury. With Christian McCaffrey still out with an injury, the Panthers need all the receiving options they can get. With Samuel suddenly being limited in practice because of the injury, the Panthers may not have him against the Packers.

James Proche II, Baltimore Ravens (Reserve)

Update, Sunday, December 20th: James Proche II is active for the Baltimore Ravens Week 15 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After being placed on the reserve list, Ravens’ WR James Proche II is set to return for Week 15 against the Jaguars. The Ravens finally start to get healthier at the wide receiver position. Speaking of…

Miles Boykin, Baltimore Ravens (Reserve)

Update, Sunday, December 20th: Miles Boykin is active for the Baltimore Ravens Week 15 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Like Proche and Marquise Brown, Ravens’ receiver Miles Boykin is set to return from the reserve list as well for the Week 15 contest against Jacksonville.

Jakeem Grant, Miami Dolphins (Hamstring)

Update, Sunday, December 20th: Jakeem Grant is inactive for the Miami Dolphins Week 15 matchup with the New England Patriots.

After leaving during the Week 14 game, Jakeem Grant is questionable for Week 15. The Dolphins’ wideout suffered a hamstring injury that forced him to leave the contest. His quick-twitch style will need all of his muscles functioning on all cylinders.

DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins (Hamstring)

Update, Sunday, December 20th: DeVante Parker is inactive for the Miami Dolphins Week 15 matchup with the New England Patriots.

DeVante Parker shows up on the fantasy WR injury report for Week 15 after suffering a leg injury against the Chiefs. After further evaluation, Parker’s injury turned out to be a hamstring issue. He is listed as questionable for Week 15. Parker has had a couple of good outings this season but has mostly been quiet for fantasy owners.

Julian Edelman, New England Patriots (Knee)

Update, Sunday, December 20th: Julian Edelman was not activated ahead of the New England Patriots Week 15 matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots have ruled Julian Edelman out for Week 15 and will not activate him from the injured list. He will miss the contest versus the Miami Dolphins. Initially, Edelman was on both the reserve list and injured reserve. He’s since then been taken off of the reserve list, but still remains inactive on injured reserve.

Jamison Crowder, New York Jets (Calf)

Update, Sunday, December 20th: Jamison Crowder is active for the New York Jets Week 15 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.

Jets’ WR Jamison Crowder is listed as questionable for Week 15 due to a calf injury. Crowder has been one of the Jets’ best receiving options. Fantasy football managers should prepare for him to be out this week. Can the Jets win a game without Crowder and survive an 0-16 season?

Deonte Harris, New Orleans Saints (Neck)

Update, Sunday, December 20th: Deonte Harris is active for the New Orleans Saints Week 15 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Another receiver who was added to the fantasy WR injury report for Week 15 is Saints’ WR Deonte Harris, who is questionable with a neck injury. Harris has missed the last couple of games due to the injury. With Emmanuel Sanders healthy, the team has been hesitant to rush Harris back to the field.

Deebo Samuel, San Francisco Niners (Hamstring)

The 49ers will be without receiver Deebo Samuel for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury. Samuel has been a disappointment for fantasy football managers this season. While he was primed for a big season, injuries have limited him greatly.
