Nothing can derail a potentially successful fantasy football season quicker than injuries. That’s especially true at the ever-so-critical wide receiver position, where elite-level players can make or break a contending fantasy team. As we head into Week 10, several WRs find themselves on the injury report for their respective teams. Therefore, fantasy managers need to pay close attention to any WR injury updates and reports as NFL kickoffs draw near.
Fantasy WR Injury Report Week 10 | AFC
After a seemingly brutal week full of injuries, these are the fantasy-relevant WRs in the AFC currently on the NFL’s Week 10 injury report. With some players facing game-time decisions, many fantasy managers might need to start considering secondary options.
Sammy Watkins, Baltimore Ravens
Sammy Watkins (hamstring) was a limited participant on Tuesday’s estimated practice report. The Ravens play on Thursday Night Football, so they have not held a traditional practice. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported over the weekend that the Ravens are still hopeful Watkins will play Thursday after missing the last three games, but he seems closer to 50/50.
Jake Kumerow, Buffalo Bills
The Bills placed Jake Kumerow on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday. It’s unclear if Kumerow tested positive or is a close contact, but he is the fourth member of Buffalo’s offense to be placed on the COVID-19 list this week.
T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
T.Y. Hilton remains in concussion protocol after missing Week 9. He suffered a head injury in Week 8 and has yet to pass the NFL’s required testing.
Corey Davis, New York Jets
Corey Davis has missed the last two games due to a hip injury he sustained against the New England Patriots in Week 7. Head coach Robert Saleh expects Davis to return for Week 10, Ralph Vacchiano of SNY reported on Monday.
Denzel Mims, New York Jets
Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports the Jets placed Denzel Mims on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday after he tested positive for the virus. According to Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, Mims is vaccinated.
As such, he’ll be eligible to rejoin the Jets after he’s asymptomatic for at least 48 hours and has submitted consecutive negative tests at least 24 hours apart.
Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Chase Claypool would undergo an MRI on Tuesday after suffering a toe injury in the team’s Monday Night Football game against the Bears, per Teresa Varley of the team’s official site. Claypool was not on the field for Pittsburgh’s final drive against Chicago.

Michael Gallup, Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Michael Gallup (calf) will practice fully Wednesday, according to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News. Reports expect the fourth-year WR to return from injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s game against the Falcons.
Gallup has not played since injuring his calf in the opening game of the season.
Antonio Brown, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said Monday that Antonio Brown (ankle) still is wearing a walking boot, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers’ official site reports. Videos of Brown’s rehab have circulated online, and it appears he is still at least a week away from returning. Tampa Bay signed Breshad Perriman on Tuesday in a move that signified Brown might be out longer than initially expected.
