Fantasy QB Tiers and Streamers Week 8: The Colts QB is a great streaming option this week

Looking for Week 8 QB Tiers and Streamer options? Step into my office as we discuss a few names that could pleasantly surprise this week.

Streaming quarterbacks is a viable strategy that has been around for years. Essentially, you ignore the position through the early rounds of your fantasy football draft, load up on other positions, take a late-round QB, and then play the matchups through the season. If this sounds like you, then look no further than our Week 8 QB Tiers and Streamers to help guide your decision-making process.

Week 8 QB streaming options

If you’re looking for specific streaming options for Week 8, then boy do I have some names for you. These quarterbacks could pay off big time this week.

Carson Wentz vs. Tennessee

If you’re looking for an unsung hero that pretty much nobody is going to touch this week, look no further than Carson Wentz. He’s facing the Tennessee defense that dismantled Kansas City and kept Patrick Mahomes and Co. completely out of the end zone, which doesn’t happen often. But, weirdly, the Chiefs have looked befuddled all year.

The Titans are giving up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position this season. They’re surrendering 282.7 passing yards per game over their last three games. Not only that, but Wentz has had over 17 fantasy points in all but one game this year, including 20+ points in two of his last three. One of those was even in the torrential downpour against San Francisco on Sunday Night Football.

Wentz is looking pretty good for a decent streaming game this week.

Daniel Jones @ Kansas City

Nothing is more terrifying than trusting Daniel Jones. Nothing. Every game with Jones as your quarterback is an emotional rollercoaster that should come with a warning label for people with heart conditions. But hey, it’s not all bad.

Jones has had a few good games this year, including three games over 21 fantasy points, and two over 16. He’s also had two total clunkers, but he was knocked out of one of those with a head injury.

The only game that Jones has started and played in full that wasn’t fantasy viable was against the Los Angeles Rams. In that game, he had a horribly depleted wide receiver corps and injuries on the offensive line.

This weekend, Jones gets Kansas City, which has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Furthermore, they’re beatable on the ground, making Jones’ ability to scramble and pick up chunk plays an asset in this game. Jones is a fine streaming option if you’re looking.

Teddy Bridgewater vs. Washington

Teddy Two-Gloves had an underwhelming day against a tough Cleveland defense, throwing for his second-lowest output of the season at 187 yards. He did manage to throw 2 touchdowns, however. Nevertheless, two weeks ago against a beatable Raiders defense, Bridgewater lit them up for 334 yards and 3 TDs (and we’ll just, uh, forget about those 3 INTs).

Also of note? The Broncos get back promising second-year wide receiver Jerry Jeudy this week. I use the word “promising” as a tamed-down version of my complete adoration of this player.

The Washington defense turned in their best performance of the year last week in holding Aaron Rodgers down for most of the game. And yet, he still threw for 274 yards and 3 TDs against them.

WFT’s defense has been very suspect, particularly in the secondary. They’re giving up the most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this year. Bridgewater is a fine option to stream in Week 8. Look for him and Jeudy to look really, really good together.
