Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London “silenced” the crowd during the Monday night showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. His impressive performance in partnership with quarterback Kirk Cousins led the team to a nail-biting 22-21 win.
While London’s thrilling performance made headlines, his girlfriend, Sofia Rose Gabay, a fashion model and an influencer, also took on Instagram to express her support for the former USC star.
While capturing an electrifying moment from the game, she wrote on her Instagram story: “You Hear How Silent He Made the Eagles.” She also reshared the Falcons’ celebratory post from their account, which showed off their final score.
While the Falcons lost their season opener game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, London and the team have seemed to compensate with Monday’s win.
London and Cousins helped Atlanta secure the close victory with a game-winning touchdown at Lincoln Financial field. The Falcons’ quarterback ran a last-minute 70-yard drive, which London received with just 34 seconds left on the clock.
Fans couldn’t stop raving about the stirring moment that helped the Falcons bag this victory. While one said, “What a finish! Talk about a nailbiter!” another lauded London and said, “THAT ROUTE BY DRAKE LONDON WAS F****** BEAUTIFUL.”
Who Is Drake London’s Girlfriend, Sofia Rose Gabay?
Like the Falcons wide receiver, Rose Gabay is a University of Southern California alum. She studied cinema there and was part of the 2013-established Xpressions Dance Company, a dancing group.
Xpressions Dance Company gave Gabay a heartfelt farewell just before her graduation via a performance choreographed by her with her best friend. In their post, the group wrote, “Congrats to all of our seniors on graduation — you will all be so missed.”
When talking about her journey at the university, she wrote in her post, “USC, you have my heart. USC has always been my dream school, and turning this dream into a reality has been the most incredible journey for the past 4 years.
“Being able to continue dancing and choreographing for an incredible group of dancers on @uscxpressions, making lifelong best friends, trying to cope with Zoom classes (that one was tough), making short films that involved “tattooing” hundreds of interesting drawings…the list of memories are endless. FTFO for life.”
Gabay first showed off her relationship with Landon on Oct. 27, 2023, when she posed wearing a pink jacket with the Falcons’ star name engraved on it.
Since then, the couple has been open about their relationship; they attended the Kentucky Derby this year, twinning in blue outfits.
On the Falcons’ WR’s birthday, she posted a bunch of snaps of hugging and kissing him while writing, “Happy birthday to my best friend. I love you until the end of time.”
Most recently, Gabay showed her fans an easy way to customize a t-shirt for the Eagles vs. Falcons matchup, where she pasted the words “Atlanta Falcons” at the front of the shirt and “bedazzled” the letters with red glitter.
Fans would be intrigued to see Gabay make more appearances on Falcons game days, especially now that London has caught everybody’s attention after Week 2.
