Dolphins 7 7 16 7 37

It was a day for Tua Tagovailoa, Myles Gaskin, and the rest of Miami’s offense in the first half. Tua finished the contest 16-23 for 183 yards and a touchdown. He was nearly perfect early in the contest, and Dolphins fans should feel good going forward knowing reinforcements are on the way.

The offense wasn’t the only impressive part of the game. Sam Eguavoen registered a ridiculous 4 sacks on the night. The defense held down the Falcons offense for most of the game. Miami’s defense held the Falcons to under 100 yards passing, and until consecutive 30-yard runs late in the game, had held the Falcons to under 4 yards per play.

However, it’s not all doom and gloom for the Falcons. Many of their starters did not play in this game. They certainly have things to work on, particularly defensively, but this game is not a death blow for their regular-season future.
