Eli Manning Net Worth: How Much Has the Former Giants QB Made in His Career?

Former NFL QB Eli Manning won two Super Bowls in a 16-year NFL career spent entirely with the New York Giants. How much money did he earn?

Eli Manning, former NFL quarterback and coach of the NFC’s Pro Bowl team, is widely regarded as perhaps the best signal-caller in New York Giants history, and for good reason.

Manning, who was taken No. 1 overall in the 2004 NFL Draft, spent 16 years under center for New York. In that time he racked up over 57,000 passing yards and 366 touchdown passes, both of which are far and away first in Giants franchise history. Both numbers are also presently good for 10th all-time in league history.

Of course, Manning is perhaps best known for his playoff heroics. The two-time Super Bowl MVP famously felled Tom Brady’s New England Patriots in two separate championship showdowns. Manning’s Giants toppling the 16-0 Patriots in Super Bowl 42 lives in infamy as one of football’s all-time greatest upsets.

What Is Eli Manning’s Net Worth?

That game will always represent a humongous part of Manning’s football legacy. It also played a substantial role in helping Manning to build his fortune. After all, Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks are almost always compensated quite handsomely.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Manning’s net worth is in the neighborhood of $160 million. He signed three contracts during his tenure with the Giants, each surpassing the last.

His rookie deal was for seven years and $54 million, or $7.7 million annually. His second pro contract — signed a season after toppling New England in the first of those aforementioned two Super Bowl victories — was for six years and $97.5 million, or $16 million annually. And Manning’s final pro contract was for four years and $84 million, or $21 million per year.

Per Spotrac, Manning’s career earnings come out to $252 million altogether. Among contemporaries, he compares favorably to notable passers like Matthew Stafford ($150 million), and Drew Brees ($160 million), as well as celebrities like Ben Affleck ($150 million) and Matt Damon ($170 million).

Of course, Manning’s something of an off-field celebrity as well.

According to Forbes, Manning has done endorsements for major brands like Toyota, Nike, Visa, DirecTV, and Gatorade. He also did a memorable ad spot for Oreo with his older brother, Peyton, opposite famous tennis-playing sisters, Venus and Serena Williams. Eli has continued to work alongside his big bro in his post-playing days as well.

Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli, often fondly referred to as the Manningcast, has been a fixture on ESPN2 since the 2021 NFL season. The superstar brothers, who played a combined 34 years in the NFL, provide a unique perspective that few analysts in the game can match. They also have notable comedic timing and regularly include prominent guests, both features which keep viewers coming back.

Manning is still awaiting enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, an honor that many feel is a matter of mere formality. In the interim, he’s got plenty of reason to be happy.

    At least 160 million reasons.
