Eagles RB Saquon Barkley and Cowboys EDGE Micah Parsons don’t put on the same color jersey when stepping onto the gridiron. However, the duo haven’t forgotten their days playing for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Coming to the NFL, the duo split (but landed in the same conference) — now, their teams are on different paths this season.
The Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Dallas Cowboys with a 34-6 victory on Sunday. The win placed the Eagles at the top of the NFC East with a 7-2 record. Dallas, on the other hand, continues to struggle, dropping to 3-6.
Eagles Fans Badly Want Micah Parsons-Saquon Barkley Duo
The Cowboys vs. Eagles game aftermath saw a nostalgic moment between Parsons and Barkley. The Penn State alum shared a warm postgame exchange that went viral.
Fans quickly reacted to a clip of the two stars covering their mouths in conversation, fueling speculation about Parsons potentially joining Barkley in Philadelphia. The Eagles’ official X account shared the video, which sparked an avalanche of fan responses.
One fan tweeted, “Make it happen Howie!” addressing Eagles GM Howie Roseman with a playful plea to bring Parsons over to Philly.

Another fan speculated, “No doubt Saquon said come join us next year,” adding to the excitement over the two’s interaction.
“Parsons wants to be an Eagle,” said another.
“Bro wanna be a Eagle so bad😂,” tweeted one X user.
One NFL enthusiast pleaded, “Parsons 🤝 Eagles Make it happen.”
“Two future Eagles Hall of Famers,” predicted another.
One more hopeful fan wrote: “Saquon pulling his jersey over his mouth. He’s definitely recruiting Micah 😂.”
Parsons is a defensive juggernaut and gave it his all on Sunday but couldn’t overcome a struggling Cowboys team that was outmatched by the Eagles’ offense.
Jalen Hurts was the star of the show, throwing for 202 yards and two touchdowns. He even stretched his legs a bit with two rushing touchdowns. Barkley contributed with 14 carries for 66 yards and a reception for 12 yards, helping the Eagles pull off the lopsided victory.
This isn’t the first time Parsons has shown support for his former teammate. Recently, on his podcast The Edge, he criticized the Giants for letting Barkley slip away. Parsons has openly praised Barkley’s talent and expressed frustration over the Giants’ handling of the star running back.
Micah Parsons on Saquon Barkley:
"The Giants did not appreciate him. And now the rest of the league is facing the consequences of the Giants' stupidity."

The good news for the Eagles hopeful is that Parsons’ contract with the Cowboys will expire after 2025. Whether Parsons would ever actually suit up in green remains a long shot, but that hasn’t stopped fans from hoping this Penn State reunion could one day happen.
