The Philadelphia Eagles released their final injury report for Week 2 on Saturday as the team prepares for a Monday night showdown against the Atlanta Falcons.
Philadelphia’s first injury report of the week included the return of a potential starter. Let’s take a closer look at the team’s latest injury report and discuss any takeaways.
Eagles Week 2 Final Injury Report
Here’s the Eagles injury report released following Saturday’s practice. After missing multiple projected starters against the Green Bay Packers, the Eagles could be missing a pair of wide receivers in Week 2.
Did Not Participate
- WR. A.J. Brown (hamstring) – Questionable
- WR Johnny Wilson (hamstring) – Questionable
Full Participant
- OT Fred Johnson (thumb)
- G/T Tyler Steen (ankle)
- DT Milton Williams (foot)
- CB Isaiah Rodgers (hand)
- LB Devin White (ankle)
Takeaways from Eagles Injury Report
- After being limited during Friday’s practice, Brown did not practice on Saturday and is now questionable due to a hamstring injury. Brown is a key cog on Philadelphia’s offense and his absence would be a game-changer.
- Wilson joined Brown as both wide receivers missed practice on Saturday due to hamstring injuries. Wilson already missed time during the preseason due to a concussion. The Eagles will likely have to make a move at WR ahead of Monday night.
- Johnson was another recent addition on the injury report, after he was limited due to a thumb injury. He was elevated to a full participant on Saturday. Johnson is Philadelphia’s primary backup at left tackle behind Jordan Mailata.
- Williams registered 28 total defensive snaps for the Eagles in Week 1, according to TruMedia. Yet he was listed as a limited participant for Thursday’s practice due to a foot injury. Williams was a full participant on Saturday and will play against the Falcons.
- Rodgers returned to practice after missing Week 1 due to a hand injury. Rodgers revealed to reporters on Thursday that he actually broke a bone in his hand on the last day of training camp and underwent surgery. Rodgers miraculously practiced in full on Thursday and appears to be ready to return against the Falcons in Week 2.
- White returned to practice after failing to make the trip to Brazil in Week 1 due to an ankle injury. Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio named Nakobe Dean the starter over White, therefore it’ll be interesting to monitor his role moving forward. White said all of the right things about his new role as a backup on Thursday.

Falcons Injury Report Details
Here’s the Falcons injury report released following Friday’s practice. Including the absence of a key defensive starter and the limited participation of Atlanta’s starting right tackle.
Did Not Participate
- LB Nate Landman (quad, calf) – Out
Limited Participant
- CB Antonio Hamilton Sr. (groin) – Out
Full Participant
- RB Jase McClellan (knee)
- RT Kaleb McGary (groin)
Takeaways from Falcons Injury Report
- Landman has been battling a quad injury since the end of the preseason. He split playing time with Troy Andersen at inside linebacker in Week 1. Landman played 54% of Atlanta’s defensive snaps, recording six total tackles. In addition to Landman’s quad injury, the Falcons added a calf injury to the team’s injury report on Thursday.
- McClellan was the lone new addition to Atlanta’s injury report on Friday. The Falcons rookie RB was a healthy inactive in Week 1 against the Steelers.
- Hamilton didn’t play in Week 1 for the Falcons as he continues to battle a groin injury. It’s unclear if he’ll be able to return to action against the Eagles on Monday night. He was upgraded to a limited participant during Friday’s practice. But the Falcons will hold him out for at least one more week.
- McGary is Atlanta’s starting right tackle and played all 56 offensive snaps for the Falcons in Week 1. Atlanta’s offensive line struggled against the Steelers, allowing three sacks and 12 total pressures. McGary practiced in full on Saturday and will play in Week 2.
