Meet Drake Maye’s Girlfriend, Ann Michael Hudson: His Significant Other Since the 7th Grade

Drake Maye’s family is an important part of his life.

Growing up as one of four brothers, all of whom have had some level of success in athletics, Maye leaned on those around him as he found his path to the NFL.

This tight circle appears to include Maye’s girlfriend, whom he’s been with since middle school.

    Who Is Drake Maye’s Girlfriend?

Maye’s girlfriend, Ann Michael Hudson, attended the University of North Carolina with Maye while studying business.

Pursuing a career in business, Hudson spent time with Deloitte Consulting as a Summer Scholar.

She also worked with the UNC Business Cares Club, an organization that supports local Chapel Hill nonprofits such as Ronald McDonald House, CEF, PORCH Chapel Hill, and Compass Center, through fundraising and volunteer opportunities.

The Maye family is a close one. Introducing the New England Patriots to those closest to him at Gillette Stadium just after the 2024 NFL Draft in April, Maye explained how his oldest brother, Luke — a star college basketball player at UNC and pro overseas in Japan — had it written into his contract that he could return to the United States to celebrate the draft with him.

Maye noted that his older brothers are his role models. The second oldest of the quartet, Cole Maye, hasn’t seen success on the gridiron or the court, but rather on the diamond. Cole won a national championship with the Florida Gators baseball team, where he was a pitcher. Their youngest brother, Beau, currently plays basketball at UNC.

Introducing each of his people on stage, Maye continued down the line.

“Can’t forget my longtime girlfriend,” Maye noted. “We’ve been dating since the seventh grade, Ann Michael.”

“This is my squad, and if you’re getting me, you’re getting them.”

New England’s newly minted rookie quarterback joined the Tar Heels in 2021 and played sparingly as a freshman. After a breakout sophomore season catapulted him to the national spotlight, Maye became highly discussed in draft circles.

A solid junior season cemented his first-round billing, and he was selected by the Patriots third-overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Maye enters the 2024 season in a quarterback room that also features veteran Jacoby Brissett and fellow rookie Joe Milton III.
