According to NFL insider Daniel Jeremiah, the New York Giants had somebody in attendance for every one of Shedeur Sanders’ games in 2024. Jeremiah revealed the information during an episode of his podcast, “40s And Free Agents,” which he co-hosts with Gregg Rosenthal.

Daniel Jeremiah Reveals That Giants Attended Every Colorado Game in 2024
Jeremiah’s claim came as he discussed his latest mock draft, in which he projected Sanders to land with the Giants. When giving his reasons for the pick, Jeremiah explained that Sanders would be difficult to pick ahead of Abdul Carter, who he had going to the Cleveland Browns at two. With Carter off his board, though, he explained that the Giants would have an easier decision to make.
The NFL Network insider then revealed that some extra information influenced his decision to mock Sanders to the Giants. Jeremiah revealed that, while not 100% sure of the information, he’d been told by a source that the Giants had been in attendance at every single one of Colorado’s 2024 games.
“Sometimes you get these little pieces of information. Some of it’s yet to be verified, and this is 100% in that camp, Gregg. But I was told by someone, outside the Giants organization, but someone inside the league, that said the Giants had a presence at every single Colorado game this year. They were following Shedeur Sanders around, the entire season.”
Some might suggest that watching Colorado’s games made sense for the Giants, given that Travis Hunter, another potential top-three pick, also played for the team. With both players a potential option for the team with the third overall pick, and multiple free-agent quarterbacks still available, the team’s plans remain unclear.
Latest PFSN Mock Draft Agrees With Jeremiah
The latest seven-round mock draft from PFSN is identical to Jeremiah’s through picks one to four. After Carter is taken second overall by the Browns, Ben Rolfe writes that Sanders joins a talented young roster in New Jersey.
“The New York Giants’ current quarterback situation sees them with Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito. They have the pieces of a developing roster and need a quarterback to take the spotlight. Sanders is the quarterback built to take that spotlight and shine. He may not make the “wow” plays Ward does, but he is the safer projection to the NFL as far as talent.
The signing of Winston means that Sanders does not have to start Week 1. However, he will have a chance to compete alongside Winston and potentially earn that No. 1 role. This takes some of the pressure off Sanders, but it doesn’t put him in a spot where he has one of the more established veterans to compete with.”
With both general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll on thin ice when it comes to job security, the decision will be one they can’t afford to get wrong. Sanders will already be under pressure thanks to the media attention that comes with his last name. If selected at three, he can add the glare of New York City, and two people’s continued employment to that already immense weight on his shoulders.
