Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill Makes Bold Predictions — From Super Bowl to Yardage Marks

Tyreek Hill has let it be known: He plans to hit a big goal he's had since he was a kid and made another big prediction involving the Miami Dolphins.

Tyreek Hill isn’t one to shy away from wearing his confidence on his shoulders. Establishing himself as a Super Bowl winner and perennial Pro Bowl wide receiver helps him feel comfortable about feeling strongly about himself. However, recently, the outspoken NFL WR delivered two of his biggest predictions yet.

‘Cheetah’ Makes Bold Predictions for Himself on ‘Cheetah Podcast’

Speaking on his own podcast, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver wasted no time in painting the verbal picture of how his 2023 season will go.

“I will break 2,000 yards next year bro,” Hill said on his show to Julius Collins.

To which the co-host responded by saying “Y’all heard it, he just crossed something off his bucket list.”

Hill then dove further, saying “All I’m going to say is 2,000 yards was on my bucket list to get bro before I leave this league. And y’all think the Cheetah is going to leave without doing something he promised himself he was going to do as a kid? I got y’all baby.”

But then came another added prediction that will surely energize Dolphin fans.

“2,000 yards, and another Super Bowl,” Hill said. “We getting that [the Super Bowl]. Believe that! Believe that! Thank you. It needed to be said.”

What Hill Accomplished Last Season in First Campaign With Miami

If last season was any indication, the “Cheetah” surely proved he was way ahead of schedule in adjusting to the Mike McDaniel-led Dolphins offense.

In starting all 17 games, Hill went on to snatch new career-highs in receptions with 119, then receiving yards with 1,710.

How did Hill reach that latter total? He went on to produce seven 100-yard games. That number shattered his past best of six from the 2018 season while with the Kansas City Chiefs.

On the receptions front, Hill produced four games of catching double-digit passes — another personal best for him according to Pro Football Reference. He additionally delivered a pair of 12-catch performances for the second straight season.

Again, his astronomical production came in just his first season being with McDaniel and having Tua Tagovailoa throwing him the football. But, Hill also witnessed three different passers behind center as injuries derailed the Dolphins’ QB room.

By eyeing the 2,000-yard mark, that will shatter the NFL record held by Calvin “Megatron” Johnson of the Detroit Lions — who finished with 1,964 yards in 2012 and during a 16-game schedule.

Still, Hill has the strong belief the record will fall in what will be a season full of championship aspirations for the Dolphins.

“I feel like I’ve got the right tools around me,” he said on his podcast. “I’ve got obviously the most accurate quarterback in the NFL, I’ve got one of the best head coaches in the NFL and also my position coach is a monster also. So just having those three things and me just keeping the same mindset each and every day that I want to get better and I want to break the record and I do want to break the record.

He concluded with: “So I feel like this is one of those years that I can achieve it.”
