Dolphins’ Locker Room Is an ‘Absolute Dumpster Fire’ After 0-2 Start, NFL Insider Reveals

The Dolphins sit at 0-2 as they head to play the Bills but the bigger issue is the discord among the team members that has the locker room in shambles.

The Miami Dolphins are hoping to save their season on Thursday Night Football, but it will not be easy. The Dolphins are headed to Buffalo to take on the Bills in a matchup where they are heavy underdogs.

The first two weeks have been a disaster for the Dolphins, getting blown out by the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 and losing their home opener last week to the New England Patriots. One of the pressing issues seems to be in the locker room, where apparent animosity exists between players and coaches. Until that changes, the Dolphins will struggle to win any games this season.

Jordan Schultz Reveals Issues with the Dolphins

NFL Insider Jordan Schultz discussed the Dolphins on his show, “The Schultz Report.” He said, “Tyreek (Hill) is fed up with Tua (Tagovailoa), Tua is fed up with Mike McDaniel, McDaniel looks utterly confused.”

If all of these things are true, the Dolphins have much deeper issues than what is happening on the field. Miami is expected to fall to 0-3 after facing the 2-0 Bills. If that happens, it could bring on some uncomfortable conversations in the Dolphins’ front office.

Not only is McDaniel’s job possibly in jeopardy, but some of their veteran players may be on the trade block if things do not turn around.

Each season, there is usually one NFL team that turns into a dumpster fire. This year, it looks like the Dolphins are that team.

Miami Could Be Headed for Rebuild

If the Dolphins continue down the path they are headed, it would not be a surprise to see them trade some of their top players before the trade deadline. One player whose name continues to pop up in trade talks is Tyreek Hill. He is one of the most explosive players in football, but clearly not happy with his role in Miami.

Hill could be a valued asset on a contending team that needs playmakers on the outside. One team that needs a wide receiver is the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs traded Hill to the Dolphins before the 2022 season. Sending him back to Kansas City would send shockwaves through the league and likely boost the 0-2 Chiefs back to the top of the league.

The struggles of Tua Tagovailoa and his contract make him difficult to trade, so the team must invest in their franchise quarterback and hope he can return to a Pro Bowl level. This season may be a lost cause in Miami, and seeing hope that their front office handles that will tell us a lot about the direction of the franchise.
