In Tua Tagovailoa’s first game back from concussion, the Miami Dolphins suffered a 28-27 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Chad Ryland kicked a game-winning 34-yard field goal to lead the Cardinals to their fourth win of the season.
Miami’s offense played well — and Tagovailoa looked good — but the defense came up short in Week 8. The Dolphins quarterback finished the game with 234 passing yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions, completing 73.6% of his throws. He also rushed for 13 yards on three carries.
Dolphins Fans Call Out Team for Week 8 Loss
The Dolphins are now 2-5 on the season, and their fans have given up on the season. They called out the franchise on social media and expressed their frustration.
“You guys are a f*****g pathetic embarrassment of a franchise fire everyone and start over,” said one fan.
Time to blow it up. Start by firing Grier.

“The season is over,” wrote another fan.
“Absolutely embarrassing. Blow it up. Fire everybody,” said one fan.
The cycle continues!

“Being a Dolphins fan SUCKS!! This team STINKS!!!” wrote a fan.
“I’ll never see a playoff win ever in my lifetime,” complained another fan.
The Dolphins have not won a playoff game since 2000. In the last two seasons, they have lost to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills on Wild Card Weekend.
Tagovailoa signed a four-year, $212.4 million contract extension before the start of the season. This is the Alabama product’s fifth season in the league, and if the team continues to fail, questions will be asked about him and the team.
Can Dolphins Still Make the Playoffs?
With the loss against the Cardinals, the Dolphins are now 2-5 on the season. In comparison, Miami lost only six games last season; the current season has been a total disaster due to Tagovailoa’s injury and other concerns on the roster.
Miami has also lost Jaelan Phillips to a season-ending injury, and Bradley Chubb, who is recovering from an ACL injury sustained last season, is yet to play this season.
The Dolphins’ next four games are against the Bills, Rams, Raiders, and Patriots. They have the potential to win all four, but it will be very tough. Miami usually does not play well in cold weather games, and they still have games left in New York, Green Bay, and Cleveland.
The Dolphins need to win at least seven of the next 10 games to have any chance of making the playoffs. Even after that, the team could fall short, as other teams like the Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, and Denver Broncos will be competing for Wild Card spots.
The Bills is currently already three games ahead of the Dolphins in the AFC East standings (pending the Bills’ outcome with the Seattle Seahawks). Winning the division title is already out of Miami’s reach. Given their situation, it would require a miracle for the Dolphins to make the playoffs this season.
