Football fans have come to learn a great many things about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott during his eight seasons at the helm for “Big D.”
For instance, the 30-year-old signal-caller is an alum of the Mississippi State Bulldogs football program. His given name, as shown on his birth certificate is Rayne Dakota Prescott. And we recently learned that Prescott is expecting his first child with girlfriend Sarah Jane Ramos.
Many fans likely could’ve told you one, two, or even all three of those fun facts. They’ve all likely been mentioned on game broadcasts featuring Prescott’s Cowboys one time or another.
They could also probably tell you that Prescott is very well-compensated for his work, with a reported net worth of $60 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth). One thing you might not know about Prescott is he likes to use the riches he’s amassed to add to his substantial car collection.
A Closer Look at Dak Prescott’s Car Collection
Prescott’s got a number of different luxury vehicles within his fleet. The particular makes and models of the vehicles Prescott owns have varied based on the source reporting and the time at which said report was made.
A report from 21Motoring on Christmas Eve of last year tells a number of high-priced gifts Prescott splurged on for himself. Included amongst them are a Mercedes Benz G63 AMG (valued at $160,000) and a Lamborghini Urus (valued at $225,000). The aforementioned site particularly raved about the impressive features of the latter vehicle.
“Lamborghini’s super SUV features a 4.0-Liter twin turbo V8 which churns 657 horsepower. The Urus can sprint from 0-60 mph in under 3.4 seconds making it one of the fastest SUVs.”
Prescott’s got some other big-name whips in his (presumably multi-car) garage, including a Cadillac Escalade and a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray among the other impressive rides that Prescott’s got the keys to.
But of all the cars that Prescott owns, it seems easy to deduce which one might be the sentimental favorite. His Ferrari, of course, with the personalized plate that says: ‘SINGLEWIDE.’ per a 2021 piece from Sports Illustrated.
That plate is an ode to Prescott’s youth, which was spent growing up in (what was evidently) a single-wide trailer with his mother and two brothers in rural Louisiana. Even then, an anecdote from the SI article linked above is indicative of Prescott’s wisdom from a young age.
“Yet, when Tad (Dak’s brother) complained of the endless rotation of the same meals — chicken, meatloaf, spaghetti — Dak looked at him earnestly and, despite being younger by six years, said, “Bro, I’m just grateful we got something to eat.”
Even from a young age, Prescott had the wisdom to be grateful for his single mother’s ability to provide for he and his brothers. Wisdom and gratitude are two traits most would agree the quarterback has maintained into adulthood.
And those traits have helped begat him the riches to enjoy some to enjoy some of the finer things in life in adulthood.
