The Rams took an early lead in the first quarter of Week 9 against the Seahawks, but they couldn’t hold onto it. Los Angeles managed to get ahead again in the fourth quarter, but the game was leveled soon by the home team at Lumen Field.
Nevertheless, in overtime, the Rams claimed a thrilling victory courtesy of Matthew Stafford. Kupp did not score a touchdown in the game, but he finished with 11 receptions for 104 yards.
After the victory, Kupp’s wife took to her Instagram stories to express her joy. She posted a picture of Kupp with the final score of 26-20, captioning it with “Love a win in the PNW.”
Interestingly, the high school sweethearts happen to be from the Pacific Northwest. Both Kupp and Marie were born in Yakima, Washington, where they spent much of their childhood at.

Stafford made the Kupp family happy for the win in their return to their home state. After the game, the veteran wide receiver highlighted that Stafford’s 298-yard, two-touchdown performance doesn’t tell the complete picture of his superiority in tough situations.
“You just feel good about it,” said Kupp about Stafford’s abilities. “You feel good about ‘niner’ being able to do something with it and the confidence that we have. It’s the urgency for guys that makes guys want to go make plays for him, and I know he’s going to be back there fighting for us. He continues to do that.”
The Rams will be back at SoFi Stadium in Week 10 when they take on the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
