After being benched for two weeks, Richardson looked fresh and poised to put all on the line for the victory. In the process, the QB has won back fans that he might have lost previously.

Richardson Being Benched Worked In His Favor Argued the Colts’ Head Coach
For two weeks, Richardson was left on the bench in favor of veteran Joe Flacco. However, the defeats did not stop, and Richardson was made a starter once again for the game against the Jets. Before the game, Indy’s head coach highlighted the effect of it all on the 22-year-old.
“Phenomenal. He’s done a great job,” Shane Steichen said on 107.5 The Fan when asked how Richardson handled the week. “Obviously, it’s stacked in with the last two weeks and then this week. Seeing great growth. Like you said, not a finished product, but he had a phenomenal week this week.”
Steichen’s words were proved to be true against the Jets. Now, fans hope this development continues against the NFC powerhouse Detroit Lions in their Week 12 matchup as well.
