In recent weeks, a large billboard of Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback Shedeur Sanders was unveiled in Times Square, New York City. The billboard features the son of Prime Time Deion Sanders celebrating, alongside the caption “You know what Time it is” and the famous Nike logo.
The prominent ad comes after Sanders signed a massive NIL apparel and footwear deal with the sports powerhouse in August. As a result of this billboard, college football and NFL fans alike have taken to social media to congratulate Sanders and discuss his future professional football prospects.

In response to the post featuring Sanders, one Instagram user explained how they wanted to see the current Buffaloes QB playing for the Las Vegas Raiders next season.
“That raiders uniform next champ,” they detailed.
Another individual expressed their gratitude toward the entire Sanders family.
“COLORADO! Salute to the Sanders Family 🫡,” they stated.
Finally, someone outlined how despite this achievement, Sanders should have been one of the Heisman Trophy finalists. Announced yesterday, the list included fellow Buffaloes teammate WR/CB Travis Hunter, Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward, Boise State Broncos RB Ashton Jeanty, and Oregon Ducks QB Dillon Gabriel.
“Should’ve at least been a candidate for the Heisman Trophy & invited to the ceremony.” they said.

Sanders’ 2025 NFL Draft Projection Amid Heisman Omission
Despite not being included as a finalist for the Heisman Trophy this season, Sanders is expected to be one of the first names and quarterbacks taken in the 2025 NFL Draft. This sentiment is shared by Pro Football Network’s Jacob Infante, who believes that Sanders will be taken No. 2 overall by the Raiders in his recent 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
As Infante notes, “The Las Vegas Raiders have found a superstar tight end in the form of 2024 first-round pick Brock Bowers. However, the guys throwing him the ball in Las Vegas haven’t quite looked the part of franchise quarterbacks this season.
Shedeur Sanders is a tough, accurate quarterback with an acute sense of anticipation behind his throws and the ability to maintain his composure in the pocket. He has a solid arm and processes blitzes and exotic rush packages well, too.”
While it remains to be seen if he will be drafted by the Raiders come April’s NFL Draft, it is evident that the Sanders billboard in NYC has people talking about the future of the exciting young quarterback.
